Customizable Book Table Columns

Users can now select which columns of book data are visible in the books table, and rearrange them to create their preferred layout. This enables a more personalised and efficient browsing experience.

Shared Libraries

Library owners can now invite family members or other users to collaborate on their library. Invite by email, assign a role, and manage who can view or edit your collection - all from the library settings.

Member Roles & Permissions

Two roles are available when inviting members: Viewer (read-only access) and Editor (can add and edit books). Permissions can be fine-tuned individually per member, controlling access to shelves, loans, lists, tags, bulk imports, and more.

Invitation Workflow

Invitees receive an email with a link to accept or decline the invitation. Existing users also get an in-app notification. Owners will be notified when someone joins or declines an invitation, or leaves the library.

Label Printing

Users can now print labels for their books, making it easier to organize and identify them in physical libraries. Pro and Ultimate plan subscribers can also create custom label templates with various book metadata variables.

Welcome Onboarding Experience

New users are now greeted with an interactive onboarding process upon registration, guiding them through the platform's key features and helping them get started quickly.

List and Table View for Lists

Books within lists can now be viewed in both list and table formats in addition to the existing grid view, providing users with more flexible ways to browse and organize their collections.

Subscription Payment Reminders

Users now receive automatic email reminders one day before their subscription payment is processed, helping them stay informed about upcoming charges and manage their subscriptions effectively.

Reading Streaks

Users can now build and maintain reading streaks by logging daily reading activity, helping to develop consistent reading habits and stay motivated with visual progress tracking.

We've introduced flexible pricing plans and subscription options, giving users access to more libraries, unlimited books, and all premium features to enhance their reading experience.

Export feature

Users can now export their book library data to a CSV or JSON file, allowing for easy backup and transfer of their book information.

Reading Goals

Users can now set and track reading goals, allowing them to set targets for the number of books they want to read and monitor their progress towards achieving those goals.

Loan reminders

Users can now set up automatic reminders for loaned books, helping them remember return dates and manage their borrowed items more effectively.

Bulk import improvements

The bulk import feature has been improved overall. Specifically, if an ISBN value is provided for a book, the system will now attempt to fetch additional details about the book from an external source in order to fill in any missing information, including cover image.

Users can now bulk import books into their library by uploading a CSV/XLSX files with book details, streamlining the process of adding multiple books at once.

Edit book cover

Users can now edit the book cover directly from the book page, allowing them to update or change the cover image as needed.

Reading progress tracking

Users can now track their reading progress for each book by updating the page they have read up to on that day, and view their reading history over time.

Monthly pages read statistic

The new reading progress tracking feature has led to improvements being made to the monthly read pages number statistic, which is based on the user's reading history.

Edit book publisher

Users can now edit publisher information directly from the book details page, allowing corrections and updates to be made. A new publisher can be created from the 'Publishers' page.

Webapp responsiveness

We've improved the responsiveness of two pages in the webapp: the 'Books' and the 'Add a book' pages.

Visual books view

In the books page, in addition to the list view, users can now switch to a visual view that displays book covers and additional details, enhancing the browsing experience.

Adjustable items per page

In all the tables, users can now adjust the number of items displayed per page, allowing for a more personalized viewing experience.

Book author mapping

We've fixed an issue where book authors were not being correctly mapped to their respective books, ensuring accurate author information is displayed.
